Timeline
My Journey
1991
I opened a currency shop in Pärnu - unique for its time, combining a state shop and a private shop under one roof. Prime Minister Edgar Savisaar even attended the opening.
1994
I was invited to join a large industrial company as sales director. Within six months I realized that traditional employment and endless meetings weren’t for me. At the same time I was running my consulting business, so it wasn’t a loss but a valuable lesson.
1995
I launched a completely new service in Estonia - company liquidation. Ready-made company sales were booming, but no one helped failed firms. The start was tough: clients were hard to find and the service had to be explained each time.
1995-2004
I focused mainly on classical liquidation based on legislation.
2004-2018
I sold ‘problem companies’ abroad so failed entrepreneurs were harder to target. The service was costly and gradually lost competitiveness.
From 2018
I returned to domestic solutions - simpler and more affordable services clients understood better. EU law harmonization made bankruptcy a natural part of business, as in the US. I believe not all companies succeed - some fade, some fail, and that is part of business reality.
Today
Over 5000 companies liquidated, with battles against authorities and creditors. My principle remains: every client is a person whose business simply didn’t work out.
